- 1st Wednesday of the month: museum opens at 11 a.m.
- Closed on public holidays, except May 8 and November 11 (French Armistice days)
- Sunday December 24 and 31, early closing at 5pm
- The library is open to the public from Wednesday to Friday, 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm. In the morning by appointment.

GROUP PUBLIC
ADULT GROUP RATES
Visits by groups of more than 10 people and the application of special rates are subject to prior reservation.
- Self-guided tour price: €5 per person
Other groups: Reduced rate or with exemption. Rates on request from the Public Services Department.
PAYMENT FOR GROUPS
The method of payment must be specified when booking.
Different methods of payment:
- Cash or credit card, on site, on the day of your visit
- Cheque payable to Trésor Public, on site on the day of your visit.
- Bank transfer (deferred). On the day of your visit, an invoice will be sent to you, pending the issue of a notice of sums to be paid, which your establishment will receive at a later date. Payment must be made to the Lyon municipal treasury (not to CHRD)

- Guided tour (1h00): €60 for the group (+ €5 admission per person)
- Guided tour (1h30): €85 for the group (+ €5 admission per person)

OPENING DAYS FOR GROUPS
The museum will be closed from 08/23 to 11/21/2023 due to renovation work in the reception areas.
Off-site activities (urban itineraries) will continue during this period.
From November 21, 2023 to July 6, 2023 inclusive:
- Tuesday, 9am to 5pm
- Wednesday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
- Saturday to Sunday, 10am to 6pm
DISABILITY AND ACCESSIBILITY
- Physical disability: the entire museum is accessible to people with reduced mobility, and wheelchairs are available in the museum.
- Hearing disability: 8 magnetic loops enable hearing-impaired visitors to join a guided tour, ensuring optimum listening comfort for all.
- Visual and mental disability: the Visitor Services Department is available to help groups or associations set up a tour and develop appropriate tools.
